I have been working as a Professor of Practice at GITAM University since 2024, after serving as a Guest Lecturer from 2023.
My journey into teaching began long before I entered academia. During my 28 years in the VFX and Visualization industry, I actively mentored and trained students and young professionals through a production-based learning model that combined real-world projects with industry guidance.
Following the impact of COVID-19 on the VFX industry, I transitioned to full-time teaching—a role that felt like a natural extension of what I had always enjoyed doing.
Today, I combine my industry experience with a passion for teaching to create practical, industry-oriented learning experiences that prepare students to become production-ready professionals.

My goal was to create a practical, skill-based curriculum that prepares students for careers in the creative media and entertainment industries through hands-on learning and emerging technologies. The curriculum has since been introduced at GITAM University.
